Bobby Hamilton, 81 of Belcher, Ky. passed away in the Pikeville Medical Center on Sunday May 12, 2024. He was the son of Arnold Hamilton and Mary Rose Ramsey & step-father, Dallas Ramsey, who preceded him in death. Bobby was a member of the Ashcamp Regular Baptist Church and a purchasing agent for TECO Coal Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; Ronnie Ramsey and a sister; Velma Coleman. He is survived by his wife; Mary Evelyn Kerr Hamilton, a son; Jim Bob (Louella) Hamilton of Belcher, Ky., brothers; Randy and Wayne Ramsey both of Ashcamp, sisters; Faye Willis of Bristol, Tn. and Jackie Farmer of Pikeville, Ky. and 2 great grandchildren Chevy and Penelope Meade. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM with a service at 7:00. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 11:00 with Ival Coleman, Jimmy Dale Sanders, Teddy Honaker, Jerry Overstreet, and Phillip Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park in Pikeville,Ky. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Ashcamp Regular Baptist Church.
