Fay Dell Blackburn, 97 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on July 20, 1927 at Dunleary, Ky. and passed away at home on her birthday, July 20, 2024. She was the daughter of Elzie And Loucretia Epling Adkins who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Hasco James Blackburn, a grandchild; Christopher Crace, sister; Verda Avonelle Potter and brothers; Harold, Victor, Herman, Virgil and Elzie, Jr. Faye was a member of the Lick Creek Holiness Church and a beautician.

Survivors are sons; Andrew Roger (Elizabeth) Blackburn of Paintsville, Ky. and Elzie Samuel (Patty) Blackburn of Shelbiana, Ky., grandchildren; Strossa Blackburn, Jamie (Rhonda) Blackburn, Deanna Brown, Freddie Crace, great-grandchildren; Randon Swindall, Standa (JW) Revis, Trey (Alyssa ) Blackburn, Paige (Jacob ) Smith and Blake Brown, great great-grandchildren; Myla Swindall, Zayden Swindall, Harper Mullins, Haylee Mullins, Winnie Revis, Sophia Ward, Eli Ward, Kambree Blackburn, Sophia Smith, Christopher Smith and Addison Smith.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel and on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 8:00 AM-10:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM, with Ray Sayers and Rick Fuller officiating. Funeral service at 1:00, July 23, 2024 in Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Annie Young Cemetery in Pikeville, Ky.
