Brenda Carol Owens; 65

Brenda Carol Owens, 65, of Ashcamp, KY., entered her Heavenly home on Saturday, April 26, 2025. She was born on July 28, 1959, to the late Ralph “Boot” Ratliff and Maisy Ratliff of Ashcamp, KY. She brought light and love into this world before her peaceful passing.

A proud alumna of Elkhorn City High School and Lindsey Wilson College, Brenda’s education laid the groundwork for a life dedicated to serving others in various roles in the Mental Health field.

Beyond her professional life, Brenda was a woman of many passions. She cherished the company of family and friends, with whom she shared countless memorable moments. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and contagious laugh.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Blake Owens. Brenda’s legacy continues through her adored children: Misty Owens-Pugh (Brian), Kristy Blake Owens (B.J.), Cody Owens (Tiffany); four treasured grandchildren: Morgan Blake Pugh, Lana Claire Owens, Maddox Bryant Pugh, Hadley Grace Owens, two special grandchildren: Bryce Ousley and Dalton Storm Elliott, and one loving Sister: Sherry Beth Wright (Elster)

She is proceeded in death by two brothers: Eddie Ratliff and Delmon Ratliff

Brenda’s impact on the world was profound, and her absence will be deeply felt by her family, friends, and all who were graced by her presence.

Family will accept friends at the Bailey Funeral Home on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 6:00PM - 10:00PM. Funeral Services will be at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30AM Tuesday, April 29, 2025 with Schadd Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
