Herbert Nelson Buchanan, 61 of Pikeville, KY passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025at the home of Jessica Burchett. Herbert was born September 30, 1964 in Danville, VA to the late Herbert Nelson Buchanan and Betty Kilgore Buchanan. Herbert is survived by his wife Annette Caudill Buchanan of Pikeville, KY; one daughter, Betty (Joseph) Ellen Arnett of Pikeville, KY; and one sister, Mary Thacker of Ashcamp. KY.

Visitation will be held after 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 1st and Wednesday, April 2nd at the Sulfur Spring Independent Church with services nightly at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM from the church with Terry Gibson and Richie Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at the Childers Cemetery at Ashcamp, KY.
