Cora Stewart, 94

Cora Stewart, 94 of West Liberty, KY formerly of Elkhorn City passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 at St. Claire Health Care. Cora was born December 15, 1929 at Draffin, KY to the late William May and Bessie Ward May. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stewart, sons, Johnny “Cotton” Stewart and Robert “Bob” Stewart, daughters, Renia Judd and Darlene Stewart, brother, Lonza May, and sisters, Wilma McPeek and Genevieve Kerr.

Cora is survived by her daughter, Diana Adams of West Liberty, KY; grandchildren, Freddie Hylton, Jonathan Hylton, Joanna Cottle, James Stewart, Whitney Judd, Robert Stewart, Jr. and Bobbi Bernice Stewart; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by by brothers, Farly May of Draffin, KY and Earl May of Elkhorn City, KY and sister, Doris Lee of Draffin, KY.

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the original Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7PM. The funeral will be conducted Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 2:30PM from the chapel with Jimmy Dale Sanders and others officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
