Scottie Bryant, 70

Scottie Bryant, age 70, of Powells Creek, Pikeville, Ky passed away from this life on February 15, 2025.
Scottie was born on August 22, 1954, to his parents the late Hillard and Flo Ruth Rowe Bryant.

He was the loving husband for 51 years to Katherine Lee Justice Bryant. Scottie was a Coal Miner for 29+ years and a Deacon, member of the Board of Trustees and a founding member of Victory Christian Ministries, Pikeville, Ky.

Along with his parents, Scottie is preceded in death by one brother, Shawn Bryant.
Along with his wife, Scottie is survived by their beloved son, Nathan Scott (Kiera Lea) Bryant of Elkhorn City, Ky, 2 grandsons, Andrew Scott Bryant and Oliver Sesco, 4 granddaughters, Kaylin Melissa Bryant, Aubrey Jaide Bryant, Cadence Ratliff and Quinnleigh Sesco; one brother, Shannon (Thearose) Bryant of Poor Bottom, one sister, Sheila (Jimmy) Elkins of Pikeville and several nephews and nieces, including Tina Lynn Simpson, who was devoted to her Uncle Scottie and Aunt Kathy and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a speaker at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 2PM from the chapel.
