Raymond Standifur, 63

Raymond Lee Standifur, 63 of Ashcamp, KY passed away Sunday, June 09, 2024 at UKMC. Raymond was a retired coal miner and a member of the Hylton Old Regular Baptist Church. He was born March 02, 1961 in Clintwood, VA to the late Rexford Leon Standifur and Leanzie “Anne” Rose Standifur. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Standifur and a sister, Susie Standifur.

Raymond leaves behind his beloved wife, Tammy Lynn Standifur of Ashcamp, KY; daughter, Amy (Bo) Roberts of Elkhorn City, KY; and grandchildren, Gavin and Addyson Roberts. He is also survived by brothers, Greg (Glenna) Standifur of Ashcamp, KY, Randy (Vicki) Standifur of Draffin, KY and Jim Ward of Whitesburg, KY; sisters, Anna “Sis” (Earl) Bowen of Manassas, VA, Patricia Watkins and Mary (Joe) Cantrell both of Ashcamp, KY, and Lydia (Danny) Selmon of Weston, WV.

Visitation will be after 6PM Tuesday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Hylton Old Regular Baptist Church with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 12PM from the church with Rick Mullins, Larry Puckett and others officiating. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
