Wanda Faye Stapleton, 73 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center. Wanda was born June 17, 1949 in Elkhorn City, KY to the late Frank Hopkins and Geraldine Adkins Hopkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Arnold “Punkin” Stapleton and sister, Joyce Brown. Wanda is survived by her husband, Hubert Stapleton and son Warren Stapleton both of Elkhorn City, KY; grandchildren, Dillon Wade Stapleton and Kayla Mullins; and sister, Brenda Carroll of Shelbiana, KY. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 2PM from the chapel with Jim Ed Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at the Elkhorn City Cemetery, Elkhorn City, KY.
