Bessie Marie Grizzle, 80 of Big Rock, Va. was born in Cleveland, Va. on Sept. 11, 1941 and passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on Oct. 7, 2021. She was the daughter of Jonah Jessie and Ethel Hughes Jessie who have preceded her in death. She was a member of the Big Rock Zion Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Maynard, a grandchild; Mindy Good, brothers; Jimmy, Richard, Dee, Billy and Wayne, sisters; Thelma McMillan, Bonetta Jessie and Peggy Plummer, survivors are a daughter; Rhonda Good of Mouthcard, a son; Roger Grizzle of Grundy, Va, grandchildren; Jonathon Good, Sladen Good, Kylie Good, Lisa Stacy, and Jessica Grizzle, sisters; Dorothy Wright of Dante, Va., and JoAnn Wright of Dante, Va., and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday from 6:00-10:00 PM with a funeral service at the chapel on Sunday at 10:00 with Randy Cantrell and Willard Grizzle officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park in Big Rock, Va.
