James Earsel “Bucky” Hylton

Bucky Hylton, 69 of Ashcamp, Ky. was born on April 21, 1951 on Bradshaw Mountain, West Virginia and passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on Feb. 10, 2021. He was a member of the Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church, moderator of the Thornton Gap Old Regular Baptist Church and also a coal miner. Survivors are his wife; Bula Ann Hawkins Hylton, sons; James O’Neil Hylton of Ashcamp and Andy Hylton of Kimper, Ky., daughters; Angelia Hylton of Lick Creek, Ky., Thelma Elizabeth Rhinesmith of Ashcamp, Ky., brothers; Jerry Hylton of Ohio, sisters; Derita May of Elkhorn City, Ky. and Janice Case of Elkhorn Creek, Ky., grandchildren; David, Daniel, Timothy and Tracy Jenkins, Cheyenne Tackett, Alexa Hylton, Elijah and Olivia Rhinesmith, Jacob and Seth Hylton, Koshell and Dendra Rhinesmith, great grandchildren; Kimare, Gabriel, Caleb, Emily, Maverick Aubrey, Carmen, Emma-Lee and Wyatt. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter; Rebecca June Hylton, brothers; Freddie and Patrick and sisters; Geraldin Hylton and Shirley Bell Layne. Graveside service will be held on Friday, 10:00 at the Hylton Family Cemetery on Ashcamp, Ky.
