I am still in disbelief that you are gone. Not a day has gone by, since you left us, that I wish I had been able to have told you how much you meant to me. I never believed that the night you called me would be the last time I would hear your voice. You were such a strong woman that beat the odds everytime you faced serious issues and I believed this time would not be any different. Oh how I wish I could have said more that night. You were such a blessing to your friends and community but not as much as you were to your family and me. I am grateful that you welcomed me to your family as you did and so very honored to have had you in my life. I know I am not feeling the deep pain that Gordy, Scotty, Lanita, Jami, and those precious great grandchildren you loved so much are, but I am struggling with losing you. I believe you are in a better place than we are and I feel selfish to wish for one more day with you. Fly high my sweet Mary and I believe we will see you again. Today will be so very hard on all of us and it helps me to be able to write this to you. I will ALWAYS love and miss you. I feel more at ease knowing you will be watching over all of us. You worried about this virus and today should be considered your final lesson to everyone to wear a mask and wash their hands. The hardest part for your family and me was knowing you went through a lot without anyone by your side. Mary, every tear shed today is in honor of our love for you. Til we meet again. I love you.

So saddened to hear of her passing. She was so very kind to me. She fixed fixing my mother’s hair for her funeral. Never will forget her true sweet kindness. Prayers to Mary’s Family.

This is such hard and devastating news to take. Mary was such a strong woman and lived her Christian beliefs. She was always ready to help anyone who needed it. She was also loving but would give it to you straight. I have been going to her beauty shop for 41 years. She was such a good friend that I can hardly comprehend that I won’t be seeing her anymore.. She will be sorely missed by me and everyone who knew her. Prayers for all her family and friends. Rest now in the arms of the Lord.
