Edmond Larry Ratliff, 69 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on Oct. 18, 1948 at Draffin, Ky. to Bart and Minnie Smith Ratliff. He passed away at his home on Saturday. Eddie was a state mine inspector, district president of local union and a Republic Steel field representative. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Delmon Ratliff, Gene Harr and Ron Harr. Survivors are his wife; Jennifer, a son; Bart Edmond of Elkhorn City and a daughter; Amanda Dena(Kent) Spencer of Louisville, Ky., sisters; Sherry(Elster) Wright of Draffin and Brenda(Blake) Owens of Ashcamp, Ky., and grandchildren; Abigail Grace Ratliff, Annamae Hadley Spencer, Anniston Kendall Spencer and Colton Kent Spencer. Funeral services will be conducted from the Cedar Grove Regular Baptist Church, Wednesday, 11:00 with Jerry Overstreet, Jimmy Dale Sanders and Larry Puckett officiating. Visitation will be after 6:00, Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow in the Ratliff Cemetery at Draffin, Ky.
