Carolyn Sue Hatfield, 65 of Ikes Fork, WV passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Charleston Medical Center. She attended services at Hylton Freewill Baptist Church and Christ Cathedral. Carolyn was born August 15, 1958, in Pikeville, KY to the late Myrda Hylton and Mazie June Ratliff Hylton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Myrda Hylton, Jr. and one sister, Karen Kay Hylton.

Carolyn is survived by a son, Brandon (Megan) Hatfield of Hanover, WV; a daughter, Shandi (Brian) Dotson of Danville, WV; ten grandchildren, Chloe Dotson, Callie Dotson, Ciara Dotson, Cota Dotson, Braycen Hatfield, Brea Hatfield, Brock Smith, Alyssa Smith, Kash Hylton and Wrenley Hylton. She is also survived by three brothers, Curtis (Sherry) Hylton, Doug Hylton, and Austin (Bailey) Hylton all of Elkhorn City, KY; special sisters, Carlena Hylton, Sarah Wolford and Rudi Lester; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church (12080 Elkhorn Creek, Ashcamp, KY 41512) with a service at 7 PM. The funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 16, 2024, at 12 PM from the church with Josh Bentley and Shane Lester officiating. Burial will follow at Ratliff Cemetery, Sycamore, KY.
