Anna Robinson, 83

Anna “Ann” Shuler Robinson, 83, of Ashcamp, passed peacefully on September 25, 2023, at Pikeville Medical Center, surrounded by her family, to enter her heavenly home.  Ann was born the fourth of six children on March 13, 1940, in Olinger, Virginia to Joe P. and Terri Raleigh Shuler.  Throughout her life, she held many different titles and positions.  She took the most pride in being an excellent cook and caretaker of everyone around her.  She was a member of the Elkhorn Community Church. Ann is survived by three children: Shari (Darryl) Ratliff, Mark (Natalie) Robinson, Michael (Yessica) Robinson, and a special nephew Doug Harris; ten grandchildren: Alicia Ratliff, Cody Carlisle, Leah Robinson, Peyton Ratliff, Matthew Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Daniel Kelly, Cinthya Ortiz, Lindsay Anderson, Logan Robinson; eight great-grandchildren: Josh, Avery, Kinsley, Eden, Bryson, Lyndi, Brystol, and Annie;  one sister, Edith “Toots” Robbins of Rogersville, Tennessee, along with a host of loving family and friends. Along with her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Butler Robinson Jr.; three brothers Noah, Eugene, and Truman; one sister Estelle McCann. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the Bailey Funeral Home chapel with Lee Overstreet officiating with burial to follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
