George Manford Bevins, Jr. 79 of Phyllis, KY passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his residence. George was the owner of Kimberly Paving and a member of the Feds Creek Church of Christ. He was born July 6, 1943 in South Williamson, KY to the late George Manford Bevins and Lizzie Frances Sanders Bevins. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Bevins.

George is survived by his wife, Ruth Gwendolyn Hall Bevins of Phyllis, KY; a daughter, Kimberly (Jerry) Read of Phyllis, KY; a son, Earl (Rebecca) Casey of Phyllis, KY; grandchildren, Abrial Read, Sophie Read, Brittany (Derek) Taylor, Eddie (Ashley) Rowe and Ethan (Brittany) Casey; great-grandchildren, Hayleigh Rowe, Hayden Taylor, Easton Casey and Daisy Rowe.

Visitation will be from 6-10PM Friday, June 02, 2023 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 03, 2023 at 1PM from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Rowlett officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.
