Jana Lee Coleman, 78 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on August 27, 1944 in Pike County, Ky. and passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 in the Pikeville Medical Center. Jan was the daughter of Prentice and Dorothy Huddleston Sawyers. She was a member of the Ferrells Creek Church of Christ and a member of the Ladies Christian Fellowship. She was a title clerk at Bruce Walters before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Guy (Ann) Sawyers. Survivors are her husband Paul Dennis “Denny” Coleman, sons; Dwayne (Lisa) Collins of Maysville, Ky. and Keith (Julie) Collins of Belcher, sisters; Anna (James) Hurley of Salisbury, Md., and Patricia (Mike) Gaylor of Salisbury, MD., and a brother; Steve (Carolyn) Cantrell of Lick Creek, Ky., stepdaughter; Sara (Billy) Justice, grandchildren Brandon (Baylea) Collins, BreeAnna Collins, Brooke (Greg) Black, Chastin (Seth) Blankenship, and Keeli (Kaleb Fields) Collins, great-grandchildren; Noah, Emma, Eianna, Braylon, Arayia, Kinsley, Riley, Lanna, Salem and step-granddaughter; Kyria Justice and step- great-grandson; Jaxxon Wolford. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday from 6:00-10:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 from the chapel with Steve Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Elkhorn City Cemetery in Elkhorn City, Ky.
