Paul Rodney Rogers, 73 of Haysi, VA passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at his residence. Paul was born February 6, 1943 in Floyd County, KY to the late Frank Rogers & Golda Stapleton Rogers. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Tony Rogers, three brothers, Buddy, Bobby & Billy Rogers and two sisters, Thelma Bartley & Mona Mae Ratliff. Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara Ratliff Rogers, one son, Paul David Rogers of Elkhorn City, KY, two daughters, Brittney Mullins of Haysi, VA & Traci Thornsbury of Pikeville, KY, three stepsons, Ronald Ratliff, Donald Stiltner, & Ryan Anderson all of Haysi, VA and one step-daughter, Sarah Lester of Big Rock, VA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, seven step-grandchildren & seventeen step great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12-2PM Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2PM at the chapel with Billy Ford officiating.
