William Ervin Stewart, 83 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at his residence. Ervin was born June 4, 1938 in Pikeville, KY to the late William Stewart and Anna Fraley Stewart. In addition to his parents, Ervin was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Anderson Stewart, a son, Louie Stewart, brothers, Hiram Bob, Charles, Thomas, Ted, Ray, Jay, and Sammy Stewart and sisters, Sue Justice, Rosie Castle, and Nellie Smothers. Ervin is survived by a son, Joey Stewart of Elkhorn City, KY; a daughter, Vonda Gentry of North Carolina; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Ervin is also survived by one sister, Janice Clevinger of Belcher, KY. The funeral service will be conducted Friday, May 20, 2022 at 12PM from the Chapel with Jimmy Dale Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery, Draffin, KY.
