Wilma Joyce Oney, 75 of Regina, KY passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center. Wilma was a homemaker and a member of the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church. She was born June 30, 1946 at Belcher, KY to the late Charles Meadows and Nancy Jane Ratliff Kendrick. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by four brothers, Larry, Jerry, Teddy and Jesse Meadows and one sister, Rosetta Puckett. Wilma is survived by her husband, Jimmy Oney of Regina, KY; two sons, Roger Lee Oney of Elkhorn City, KY and Gary Oney of Regina, KY; and one daughter, Susan Carrier of Bristol, TN; five grandchildren, Zachary Oney, Alexander Oney, Christopher Oney, Kasy Slone & Samantha Slone; two great-grandchildren, Makayleigh Pendergrass & Michael Alexander; and one great-great-grandchild, Walker Oney. She is also survived by three sisters, Loretta Hurley of Callahan, FL, Roberta Sagraves and Glenda Carol Rose both of Elkhorn City, KY. Visitation will be after 6PM Friday, February 18, and Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church with services nightly at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Friday, February 20, 2022 at 2PM from the church with Jimmy Dale Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at the Oney Family Cemetery, Regina, KY.
