Hiram Bob Stewart, 86 of Belcher, Ky. passed away at home on Friday. He is the son of Willie and Anna Fraley Stewart. Hiram was an army veteran and a coal miner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bessie Owens Stewart of 66 years, a son; Russell Dean, brothers; Thomas, Ray, Sammy, Ted and Jay, and sisters; Rosa Castle, Nella Smothers and Sue Justice. Hiram Bob is survived by a son; Bobby (Mary Elizabeth) Stewart of Belcher, daughters; Annetta (James Eddie) Fields of Elkhorn City, Cathy (Rick) Stacy of Belcher, Sherry (Rick) Sayers of Lick Creek, Louella( Jim Bob) Hamilton of Elkhorn City and Pamela (Jerry) Vanover of Belcher, brother; Ervin of Elkhorn City, sister; Janice Clevinger of Belcher, grandchildren; Melanie Ann Horton, Cody Fields, Miranda Holly Ansari, Kiera Lee Bryant, Nicole Wilson, Patrick Stacy, Ashley Fannin, Adam Sayers, Joshua Meade, Jeremy Vanover, Brandon Vanover and Rebecca Vanover, great grandchildren; Mia, Wade, Cady, Quinn, Oliver, Caroline, Kaylin, Andrew, Aubree, Landon, Lily, Molly, Ava, Wyatt, Brooks, and Chevy. Visitation will be from 6:00PM-10:PM on Sunday at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, with a song service at 7:00. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 12:00 from the chapel with Ray Sayers officiating. Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery at Draffin, Ky. Chpt. 140 will have a DAV service at the funeral home before going to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Chpt. 140 DAV at Elkhorn City.
