Lillard “Rooster” Anderson, 71 of Gainesboro, TN passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the St. Thomas West Hospital, Nashville, TN. Lillard was born January 13, 1948 at Buffalo Valley, TN to the late Millard Anderson & Philna Presley Anderson. In addition to his parents, Lillard was preceded in death by three brothers, T.J., James and C.B. Anderson.  Survivors are; one son, Joe Anderson; and one daughter, Hope Combs both of Gainesboro, TN; grandchildren, Dewayne Anderson, Lane Anderson, Steven Bowling, Kelsie Davis, Logan Combs, Keri Hagy & special grandson, Jamie Scott; and great-grandchildren, Mason, Conner, Ronald, Laura, Kaydance & Sylvia. Lillard is also survived by one brother, Glen Anderson of Panther, WV. Visitation will be after 6PM Friday, Feb. 22 & Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at the home of Sylvia Justice, Panther, WV. Funeral services will be conducted  Wed. , February 27, 2019 at 11AM from the home with Elder Jerry Stacy, Alvie Baker, Glen Vance & Freddie Vance. Burial will follow at the Justice Family Cemetery, Panther, WV.   The time of the funeral service for Rooster has been changed from today to Wednesday because with sadness we are announcing that  his wife Juanita passed away last night.  The children have chosen to hold services for both parents at the same time and place.
