Johnny McClellan Cooper, 44 of Bristol, TN passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. Johnny was born October 25, 1973 in Welch, WV to Johnny Cooper, Jr. and Ruth Ellen Lester Cooper of Paynesville, WV. Johnny was preceded in death by his fraternal grandmother, Viola (Payne) Moore, his maternal grandparents, Ezra & Martha (Shirley) Lester; his grandson, Cade Thomas Francois; and many beloved family and friends. Johnny is survived by his wife, Melissa Dare Evans Cooper, two daughters, Kourtnee Roberts Francois and Alexis Roberts and two granddaughters, Ellie Francois & Natalie Francois all of Bristol, TN. Johnny is also survived by two brothers, Anthony (Renae) Cooper of Paynesville, WV & Ezra (Rena) Lester of Jolo, WV; one sister, Amanda (Charles Young) Cooper of Jolo, WV; and a host of nieces & nephews. Visitation will be after 6PM Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Family Worship Center, Jolo, WV. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 29, 2018 at 1PM from the Family Worship Center with Charles Rose & Charles Young officiating. Burial will follow at the JM Cooper Family Cemetery, Rockridge, WV.
