Frederick Lee Compton, 49 of Elkhorn City passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Pikeville Medical Center. Fred was born December 23, 1964 in South Williamson, KY to the late Thomas Compton & Zettie Thacker Compton. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas James Compton & Terry Lee Compton. Fred is survived by his wife, Jackie Hill Compton and one son, Frederick Darrell Compton both of Elkhorn City, KY. He is also survived by three siblings, Jerry Compton, Charlene Compton & Mark Compton all of Elkhorn City. Visitation will be after 6PM Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 1PM from the chapel. Burial will follow at the Chapman Family Cemetery, Meathouse, KY.
