Shirley Steele, 72 of Belcher, KY passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at her daughter’s residence. Shirley was born July 12, 1944 at Belcher, KY to the late Harless Branham & Josephine Lovelace Branham. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Steele, one brother, William Branham and one great grandson, Keegan Layne. Shirley is survived by a daughter, Anita (Paul) Layne of Pikeville, KY; two grandchildren, Sean (Tara) Layne of Shelbiana, KY & Kala (Alan) Duffy of Denver, CO and great grandchild, Madison Grace Layne; Shirley is also survived by one brother, Teddy Branham of Ferrells Creek, KY; two sisters, Zetta Runyon of Springboro, OH & Pamela (Larry) Hampton of Franklin, OH; one special niece, Jennifer Akers and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Tuesday, March 28 & Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from the Bailey Funeral  Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 12PM from the chapel. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.
