Michael “Ty” Aragon, 43 of Lexington, KY passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at his residence. Mike was born April 25, 1973 in Pikeville, KY to Nina Jean Thornberry Aragon of Elkhorn City, KY and the late Raymond G. Aragon. Besides his mother, Mike is survived by two brothers, John (Andrea) Aragon of West Liberty, KY and Mark (Becky Jean) Aragon of Union, KY; three nephews, Andrew John Aragon, Dalton Ace Aragon & Houston Ty Aragon and one niece, Katelyn Nichole Aragon. Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2016 from 1-2PM at the Elkhorn City Church of Christ. A memorial service will be conducted at 2PM from the church followed by a DAV service conducted by Elkhorn City DAV Chapter #140. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Mike’s name to the Wounded Warrior Program, PO Box 758541, Topeka, KS, 66675-8541.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike’s death. I served as a Chaplain for a couple of years at the VA and met Mike a number of times. Special person with a kind heart. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
