Allen Roy Cantrell, 78 of Ashcamp, KY passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at his residence. Roy was born February 22, 1938 at Ashcamp, KY to the late Tolbert Cantrell & Lila Baker Cantrell. Besides his parents Roy was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. Roy is survived by his wife, Rita Fern Ratliff Cantrell of Ashcamp, KY and three sons, Charles Cantrell & John Cantrell both of Ashcamp, KY & Marty Cantrell of Elkhorn City, KY; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Roy is also survived by two brothers, James Cantrell of Elkhorn City, KY & Larry Cantrell of Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will be after 6PM Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church, Ashcamp, KY. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 25, 2016 at 11AM from the church. Burial will follow at the Cantrell Family Cemetery, 3C Road, Ashcamp, KY.
