Ned Dennis Bailiff, 74

Ned Dennis Bailiff, 74 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Tuesday, January 02, 2024 at his residence. He was the owner of Katie Trucking, a member of the Elkhorn City Baptist Church, a member of the Thomas C Cecil Masonic Lodge #375 and a member of the Elkhorn City Police and Fire Department.

Dennis was born April 09, 1949 in Pikeville, KY to the late Ned Jefferson Bailiff and Helena Ruth Stegall Bailiff. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Nathan and a sister, Sandy Phipps.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay “Katie” Fraley Bailiff of Elkhorn City, KY; two sons, Ned (Mary) Bailiff, Jr. and Jeff (Keisha) Bailiff both of Elkhorn City, KY; a daughter, Tammy (Charles) Fields of Elkhorn City, KY; seven grandchildren, Tranvilla, Kayla, Cory, Chris, Zach, Mackenzie and Sydney; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Noah, Luke, Andrew, Garrett, Abigal, Scarlett, Kendall, Shepherd, August, Heaven, Easton, Ivory, Ember, Abrhm, & Davie. He is also survived by a sister, Helena Gwen Kendrick of Regina, KY.

Visitation will be from 5-10PM Thursday, January 04, 2024 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a Masonic service at 6PM and a singing service at 7PM. The funeral service will be conducted Friday, January 05, 2024 at 2PM from the chapel with Cory Bailiff and Richard Green officiating. Burial will follow at the Elkhorn City Cemetery, Elkhorn City, KY.
