Nora Coleman, 58 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away July 30, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center. Nora was born March 14, 1961 at Pikeville, KY to the late Paul J. Ratliff and Dollie Stewart Ratliff. In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Ratliff & Timmy Ratliff and one sister, Amy Ratliff Bartley. Nora is survived by a son, Matthew Thacker of Elkhorn City, KY, a step- daughter, Amy Charles of Elkhorn City and one granddaughter, Mattasin Thacker of Lexington, KY. Nora is also survived by three brothers, William Gobel Ratliff of Elkhorn City, KY, Reginald “Butch” Ratliff of Rockhouse, KY & Steve Ratliff of Draffin, KY and two sisters, Pat Rogers Meade of Regina, KY & Genny Ann Childress of Grundy, VA; and her ex-husband and best friend, Kenny Coleman. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11AM from the chapel with Terry Gibson officiating. Burial will follow the Elkhorn City Cemetery, Elkhorn City, KY.

when I read my facebook messenger messages and ,I seen a message put up from what my aunt candace Matthews sent me I open it up and starting reading it she was asking me what his brothers and sisters name was and I read what she about it had your name on there and it said you died last night I talk to my sister linda Ratliff she told me you was in a really bad car accident and someone you pulled out of your husband Kenny cloeman drive it that man was speeding really , really fast and hit you head straight on and your whole trucked was destroyed after he hit you im so ,so sorry this happen I wish I was there right beside you I would of hold your hand and tell you I love you auntie nora I know I live in somerset ky now if I knew the day it happened would of already been there sitting right beside you and not moved one time I wish I could I could bring you back.
I am going to miss you so , so much I want to let you know your three nefews Johnny Michael Little , Austin Steven Simpson , Jacob Ryan Ratliff said they are going to miss and love you and, you and Pat Rogers Meade was the best, best favorite we all have I will pray for you and Matt Thacker every day and night before I go to bed .
