Dorothy M. Overstreet; 68

Dorothy M. Overstreet, 68, of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.  Dorothy was born June 10, 1947 in Woodway, VA, to the late James W. and Lelia Janell Johnston McKinney.  Dorothy is survived by her husband Freddy Overstreet of Elkhorn City, KY, two daughters; Barbie (and Seth) Haynes and Missy (and Aaron) Sanders all of Elkhorn City, KY, three brothers; Jim (and Adele) McKinney of Nicholasville, KY, Richard (and Connie) McKinney of Phelps, KY, and Bill (and Loretta) McKinney or Morristown, TN, one sister; Roxanne (Billy) Blankenship of Elkhorn City, KY, 6 grandchildren; Terry (and Morgan) Haynes, Sarah Haynes, Isaiah Haynes, Luke Sanders, Noah Sanders, and Sadie Sanders, and 2 great grandchildren; Grayson Haynes and Claire Haynes.  Dorothy was a member of the Sweet Home Regular Baptist for approximately 40 years.

Visitation will be held Sunday October 11th and Monday October 12th, 2015 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel.  Friends may call from 6 to 10 PM. Services will begin nightly at 7:00 PM with Robert Kelly, Robert Osborne, Toy Looney, & Others officiating.  The funeral will be conducted Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY.

    When you lose a loved one words just don’t comfort, so please know that I am sending loving thoughts and prayers your way. Always remember that your loss is Heaven’s gain and that you have the promise of being with her again !!! What a wonderful reunion that will be !!!     Heaven’s Army gained another Angel when Aunt Dorothy was reunited with her Heavenly Father and her parents. Our thoughts and Prayers are with the family for comfort during this very difficult time.
