Zuma Francisco Thompson, 74 of Ashland, KY passed away Thursday, April 04, 2024 at her residence. She was a retired teacher and a member of Hylton Freewill Baptist Church and attended Flatwoods Freewill Baptist.
Zuma was born September 20, 1949 at Hellier, KY to the late G. C. Francisco and Madge Adkins Francisco. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Edward Thompson, brothers, Ronald and Gary Francisco, and sister, Brenda Coleman.
Zuma is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Bo) Cure of Elkorn City, KY and Kelly (Neal) Gibson of Raceland, KY; and three granddaughters, Amelia Cure, Sydney Gibson and Abigail Gibson.
Visitation will be from 6-10 PM Sunday, April 07, 2024 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7 PM. The funeral service will be conducted Monday, April 08, 2024 at 12 PM from the chapel with Jody Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
