Debbie Lynn Wooten, 67 of Bowling Fork, Ky. was born in Pikeville, Ky on May 31, 1955, and passed away at home on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Debbie was the daughter of Virgil and Venita Bowling Coleman who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Johnny Wooten, brother; Johnny Coleman, sisters; Evelyn Smith and Athesia Coleman. Survivors are sons; Brent and Jason Wooten both of Bowling Fork, brothers; Dean(Robin)Coleman of Harold, Ky. Mark(Sadie) Coleman and L. T. Coleman of Bowling Fork, Ky. sisters; Bethel Coleman of Alabama, Joyce Coleman of Illinois, Mildred Sue Koehn of Oklahoma, Tracy Colley of Tennessee, Brenda Ratliff of Pikeville, Ky., Eleanor (Ravene) Wallace, and Elizabeth(Scottie)Adkins of Elkhorn City and Barb (Cornelus) Estep of Wise, Va., 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be in the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church on Saturday, May 27, 2023, between 6-10:00 PM. The funeral service will be on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 2:00 with Chris Bartley and Richard Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowling Fork Cemetery at Bowling Fork, Ky.
