Jeanette Martin, 80 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born on August 27, 1942 and passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the UKMC in Lexington, Ky. Jeanette was the daughter of Dudley Newton and Margurite Brust Cross who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James Victor Martin. Survivors are a son; James Victor Martin, Jr. of Liberty, Ky., daughters; Deborah Martin Kinder of Winchester, Ky. and Karen Sue Sanders of Pikeville, Ky., and grandchildren; Tyler Johnson and Dallas Sanders. A graveside service will be on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 1:00 PM, in the Annie E. Young Cemetery in Pikeville, Ky. with Mike Smith officiating.
