Sandra Wallace, 63 of Ashcamp, Ky. was born on April 16, 1960 in Pikeville, Ky. and passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 in the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Ky. She was the daughter of James and Emogene Meade Adams who preceded her in death. Sandra was a member of the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers; Tony and Dougie Adams, sisters; Ivalene Bentley and Ruth Ann Bentley. Survivors are her husband; Jerry, a son; Brandon (Sheena) Wallace of Ashcamp, daughter; Stephanie Slone of Elkhorn City, Ky., a brother; Kenneth “Duke” Adams of Shelbiana, sister; Ruby Bentley of Virgie, Ky., grandchildren; Ryan Slone, Alexia Slone, Brody Wallace, Loren Wallace & Savannah Wallace, great -grand-children; Greyson Slone and Korbyn Little. Visitation will be in the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church after 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 20, 2023. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in the church. Edgar Sanders and Kevin Stewart will officiate. Burial will follow in the Frank Tackett Cemetery on Long Fork of Virgie, Ky.

Sandy and I went to school together starting in 6th grade. And quickly became best friends. I loved her like a sister. We lost touch for several years. But had reconnected during last Christmas. Her family will miss her terribly! But know she loved her family so deeply! When you think of her think about her in Heaven!
