K. D. Kelly, 81 of Ashcamp, Ky. was born on June 15, 1941 and passed away on April 18, 2023 at home. He was the son of James Oakie Kelly and Hazel Meeks Kelly. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son; Tim Kelly, brothers; Gene, Krit, Daryl, Rudy, Ed and Glen, and sisters; Evelyn, Sue and Judy. K. D. was a member of the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church , a coal miner and a UMWA member. Survivors are his wife; Wilma Jean Bartley Kelly, daughter; Vickie (Doug) Elswick, grandchildren; Daniel Kelly, Lindsay Anderson, Hailey Elswick, Alyssa Elswick, Gracelyn Elswick, great grandchildren; Brystol Anderson, Annie Anderson and Bryson Anderson. Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 20, 2023 in the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church with a funeral service on Friday at 12:00. Van Swindall, Robert Bartley & Others will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kelly Family Cemetery at Sycamore, Ky.
