James A. Blackburn, 83 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Landmark of Elkhorn. James was born January 31, 1940 in Toler, KY to the late John Blackburn and Sylvania Coleman Blackburn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Smith Blackburn.
James is survived by three sons, Jeff Blackburn of Georgetown, KY, Bryan Blackburn of Kodak, TN and Justin Blackburn of Marrowbone, KY; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-10PM Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 2PM from the chapel with Oscar Damron officiating.
Buddy was always so kind to mean my family! ,As was your Mom, and neither without judgement.
