Dewey Hassell Smith, Jr., 58 of Panther, WV passed away Sunday, December 04, 2022 at his residence. Dewey was born March 26, 1964 in Grundy, VA to the late Dewey Hassell Smith and Mary Jane Blankenship Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Monroe Smith and a sister, Linda Darlene Hurley. Dewey is survived by three sisters, Carol Justice and Regina Fern Justice both of Panther, WV and Geneva Justus of Hurley, VA. Visitation will be after 6PM Friday, December 09 and Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Followers of Christ Church, Bradshaw, WV. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 2PM from the church with Jerry Stacy and Freddie Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Justice Memorial Cemetery, Panther, WV.
