Sharon Lavern Adkins, 65 of Jefferson City, Tn. was born on August 24, 1957, in Pikeville, Ky., and passed away on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, in Jefferson City. She was the daughter of Phillip Ray Bartley and Helen Louise Cantrell Bartley. Sharon was in customer service at Signature Nursing Home before retiring. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother; Walden Hylton. Survivors are her husband; Ervin, a son Derrick Holbrook a daughter; Deanna Renee Adkins, sisters; Margaret Justice, Lois Goff, Teresa Bartley, and Peggy Wallace, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00 PM in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday. The funeral service will be on Monday at 2:00 from the chapel. Officiating minister will be Jackie Justice. Burial will follow in the Bartley Cemetery at Dry Fork, Ky.
