Creeda Faye Damron, 86 of Hellier, KY passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church. Creeda was born April 24, 1936 at Hellier, KY to the late Everett Pigg and Lizzie Kilgore Pigg. In addition to her parents, Creeda was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Herbert William “Bill” Massey, 2nd husband, Loranza “Speed” Damron; daughter, Sandra Damron; brothers, Orville, Floyd and Raymond Pigg; and sisters, Cordie Morgan, Burtis Holbrooks, Virgie Pigg and Lola Stapleton. Creeda is survived by her son, Dennis (Lynn) Massey of Shelbiana, KY; step-children, Rodney (Madeline) Damron, Randy (Arlene) Damron, Kennerd Damron and Peggy Vance all of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Jessica Vance, Rebecca Vance, Eric Bartley, Lucas Damron, Russell Damron, Josh Martin and Ashley Damron; and great-grandchildren, Levi Damron, Ava Damron, Cole Martin, Olivia Damron and Emma Damron. She is also survived by two brothers, Ervin Pigg of Elkhorn City, KY and Donald (Billie) Pigg of Hellier, KY and a sister, Merrill Beaver of MD. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a song service. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11AM from the chapel with Oscar Damron officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Norton, VA.
