Karen Lynn Potter Mullins, 70 of Ashcamp, KY passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. She was a secretary for the Millard Vocational School and a member of the Ashcamp Church of Christ. Karen was born August 30, 1951 in Pikeville, KY to the late Ellis Potter and Josie Evalee Hackney Potter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Katrina Lynn Pugh; brother, James Ellis Potter and his wife, Eula Mae; sister, Donna Jo Potter; sister-in-law, Sharon Potter; niece, Kelly Belcher Collin and nephew, Bryon Ellis Potter. Karen is survived by her sister, Angela (J.D.) Easterling of Ashcamp, KY; brother, Davie Lee Potter of Forest City, NC; and nieces and nephews, Samuel Casebolt, Noah Easterling, John Potter, Aaron Potter, Elizabeth Forrest, James Douglas Potter, Terri Lynn Potter Hall, Robert William Potter, Mikki Branham Justice Heather Robinson Steal and Todd Easterling. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11AM from the chapel with Shawn Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery, Draffin, KY.

Angie & Family, We were so very sorry to here of Karen’s passing. We did not know she was so sick. She has always been a special friend to our family, as well as you have been Angie. Your family has been near and dear to us all. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers that God will comfort your heart and give you peace. You have lost a dear sister I know but I feel heaven has gained one Angie.
