Grover “Cleve” Holbrooks, 62 of Marrowbone Creek, Ky. was born on Jan. 9, 1960 in Pikeville, Ky. and passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022. Cleve was the son of Walter “Wal” and Opal Sexton Holbrooks. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; James and Jerry, a sister; Susan and a grandchild; Lincoln Miller. Survivors are a son; Harley Holbrooks of Marrowbone, Ky., daughter; Jessica Miller of Virgie, brothers Eddie Holbrooks of Sevierville, Tn., Malcolm Holbrooks of Lookout, Ky., Ronnie Holbrooks of Pikeville, Ky.Julian Holbrooks of Rockhouse and John Holbrooks of Rockhouse, Ky., and grandchildren; Addison Holbrooks, James Morgan Miller, and MacAustin Miller. Visitation will be from 6-10:00 PM on Monday from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022 at 1:00 with Eric Bartley officiating. Burial will follow in the Holbrooks/Hylton Family Cemetery at Rockhouse, Ky.
