Clifford Ball, 60 of Radcliff, KY passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at Pikeville Medical Center. Clifford was born march 24, 1954 at Fort Knox, KY to Virgil Ball of Elizabethtown, KY and the late Edna Mae Blackburn Shanks. Besides his mother he was preceded in death by his step-father, Walton Shanks, Jr. Cliff is survived by his son, A.J. Ball of Sheffield, AL. Visitation will be from 12-1PM Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services beginning at 1PM. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY. Expressions of sympathy make take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Kosair Charities, PO Box 37370, Louisville, KY 40233-7370.

I knew Cliff in High School and we joined the AirForce together. He was a good friend. We had a lot of good times together. I’m sorry to hear of his passing. It a shame we lost track of each other over the years.
