Blake Adkins, 80, of Elkhorn City, KY. Passed away November 15, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Blake was born on April 30, 1940 to the late Jesse James Adkins and Gracie Belcher Adkins. Blake was a civil engineer, member of Elkhorn City DAV Chapter #140 and of the Elkhorn City Church of Christ. Blake is survived by his wife Colene Hall Adkins of Elkhorn City, KY; two sons, Todd Adkins of Herndon, VA and Brad King of Chapmanville, WV; three daughters, Judy Rene Clevinger of Cynthiana, KY, Donetta Anderson of Walton, KY & Katina Lynn Kelly of Pennington Gap, VA; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Blake is also survived by one sister, Helen Thacker of Cowpen, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 6-10PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 1PM from the chapel with Jim Ed Belcher and Billy Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.
