Douglas Kirby Jones, 50 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 at Pikeville Medical Center. Kirby was born January 9, 1964 in Chicago, IL to the late Jack Jones, Sr. and Florence Bennett Jones. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jackie Jones, Jr. and one sister, Jacqueline Jones. Kirby is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Jones of Elkhorn, WI, one son, Douglas Kirby Jones of Elkhorn City and one step-daughter, Megan DeRossett of Elkhorn City. He is also survived by two brothers, Timmy Ward and Eddie Ward. A memorial service will be Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 12-2:00PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel.
