Marian Denise Swiney 48, of Marrowbone, KY, passed away Sunday May 17, 2020. Denise was born on July 6, 1971 at Pikeville, KY to Shelby Jean Swiney of Elkhorn City, KY and the late James Harold Swiney. In addition to her mother, Denise is survived by her brother James Curry Swiney, of Elkhorn City, KY; and two sisters Rhonda Wallace(Paul) of Elkhorn City, KY and Gina Mae Swiney of Grants Pass, Oregon.
Visitation will be from 6-10PM Friday, May 22, 2020 and 8AM-10PM Saturday, May 23 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 1PM from the chapel with burial to follow at Clevinger Cemetery, Venters, Ky.
Denise was a really good friend of ours who we loved dearly. We just talked to her the other day and she made us laugh like she always did. We will always cherish the long talks we had and her kind hearted attitude towards friends. She will be missed but never forgotten. We hope and pray that she knew how special she was to us all. May she rest in peace with the Angels in heaven now. We send our love, prayers, and sympathy to the family.
