I am deeply saddened at the loss of my dear stepmother whom my father George William Kresse was married to for nearly 20 years. I am also surprised that he was not listed as her second husband. Mary was a wonderful step mother that treated me as her own since I first met her at the age of 14. She will be missed more than I can say. May God bless her. George W. Kresse Jr.
David says
Please call Mary’s and leave a message.
Will call and explain.

George W. Kresse says
Mary, thank you so very much for remembering me. I was surprised that my father and I were not mentioned since Mary was married to him nearly 20 yrs. Mary was a wonderful stepmother that made me feel very loved. She was there with her warmth and understanding and connection that exceeded Stepmother and stepson. I loved spending summers In Kentucky when I growing up. I will miss our long evening conversation sitting on the porch swing in the evening. She will always be in my heart.

I am George Kresse. As Marys stepson I had a special relationship with her that was more than Stepmother to Stepson. My father was married to Mary for nearly 20 yrs living mainly in Ashcamp. She was always there for me with caring and motherly advice. My fondest memories are the many hours we would spend sitting on her porch swing in the evening and talking about old days. She was a wonderful lady that always made me feel dearly loved. I know that she is now with both my father and Jesus, our Lord and Savior. She will always have a special place in my heart that no one will ever be able to replace.

She was a part of our family for almost 20 years. She was married to my uncle Chet Sanders who suddenly died on February 16, 1970. I remember their visits to Ky from California. We once got to ride in the cubby hole of their volkswagon! I sure wouldn’t try that now. I always thought of her as a movie star!

Love that comment. I too was infatuated with the idea of having family I. CA and envisioned the Hollywood aspect. Mary seemed so well put together, hair, cloths and manners perfect. The two poodles were great. The Karman Gia ( May have spelled that wrong) was a fun car, but I would not have wanted to ride from CA to KY in it.

Would like to thank Bailey Funeral Home for a beautiful service for Mary Flanary. The entire experience was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make a very difficult time as easy as it could be. The current situation with virus protocol and restrictions were handled better than any one could imagine. We are very blessed to have this business in our community.
Thanks again
