Ermel Dean Bishop, 81 of Georgetown, KY formerly of Pike County, KY passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at UKMC. Ermel was born July 10, 1938 to the late Gove Bishop & Alice Hackney Bishop. In addition to his parents, Ermel was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Smith Bishop, a grandson, Jeffery Dean Hager and a brother, Randolph Bishop. Ermel is survived by three daughters, Tina Bishop & Marlena Bishop both of Mouthcard, KY and Samantha Justice of Georgetown, KY; and nine grandchildren, Sierra Hager, Nicole Hager, Brianna Inman, Abigail Justice, Caydence Justice, Colten Justice, Brooklyn Reynolds, Brandy Hunt & Holly Mullins. Ermel is also survived by one sister, Vivie Jean Smith of Danville, OH. Visitation will be from 12-2PM Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Mt. View Church of Christ with funeral services to begin at 2PM with Frank Crum officiating. Burial will follow at the Orville Hunt Cemetery, Mouthcard, KY.
