Roger Wayne Slone, 69 of Elkhorn City, Ky. lived in this world in peace and left this world in peace on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at his home. He was the son of Isaac and Carrie Pauline Younce Slone. Roger was a bookkeeper and a member of the Little Beaver Church of Christ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; Robert Gordon and a sister; Geneva Paige Slone. Survivors are a brother; Billy of Wurtland, Ky. and a sister Peggy Ratliff of Elkhorn City. Visitation will be from 6:00PM-10:PM on Sunday at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7:00. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel on Monday at 1:00 with Daniel Weathley officiating. Burial will follow in the Elkhorn City Cemetery.
