Shelma Ann Stone, 81 of Gainsville, Fl. and formerly of Pike County, Ky. passed away in Florida on Dec. 21, 2019. She was born on Mar. 23, 1938 to Vernis and Zetta Vanover Bartley. Shelma was a member of the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother; Paul Randall Bartley and a a sister; Myba Potter. Survivors are a son; Greg Stone of Elkhorn City and a daughter; Gina Phipps of Gainsville, Fl., and grandchildren; Chelsi and Logan Phipps. Funeral service will be held at the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church on Tuesday at 12:00 with a visitation beginning at 11:30. Edgar Sanders and Randy Standifur will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ratliff Cemetery at Shelby Gap, Ky.
