Carl Leman Coleman, 75 of Rockhouse, KY passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at his residence. Carl was a retired coal miner, member, pastor and minister of the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church for over 20 years, also a minister of Guiding Light Church and a graduate Hellier High School. Carl was born April 19, 1944 at Rockhouse, KY to the late Arthur Coleman and Mary Holland Coleman. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by three brothers; Kermit, Elmer and Blake Coleman, three sisters; Ollie Harmon, Rebie Adkins and Mageline Phipps, father-in-law, Columbus Jr. Moore and daughter- in-law; Tammy, mother of Jordan and Brittany. Carl is survived by wife, of 56 years Mary Seymour Coleman of Rockhouse, KY, son; Timothy Brian(Amy) Coleman of Pikeville, KY., two daughters; Tena Rene Jones of Rockhouse, KY. and Terena(Alex) Coleman Meadows of Dandridge, TN., thirteen grandchildren; Jordan, Brittany, Trenton, Tyler, Isiah, Drew, Annabelle, Michael, Marshall, Gracie Jo, Bryce, Kayla and Shaley; and five great-grandchildren; Leland, Waylon, Raelynn, Eli & Tig. Carl is also survived by one brother; Clifford Coleman of Mooresburg, TN., three sisters; Geraldine Phipps and Lavern Coleman both of Rockhouse, KY and Lois Damron of Georgetown, KY. , his mother-in-law; Clarice Moore and a host of friends. Visitation will be after 6PM Saturday, December 14, and Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church with services nightly at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 16, 2019 at 1PM from the church with Ray Tackett, Gary Justice & Tim Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery at Rockhouse, KY.
