Alpha Wolford, 86 of Steele, Ky. was born in Grundy, Va. and passed away on Dec. 5, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She is the daughter of John and Eliza Slone. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband; James, sons; Sherman and Douglas, brothers; Carson, Enos and Toe, sisters; Trikie Slone and Effie Webb Slone. Survivors are 2 sons; Emory Jack of Honaker and Calvin Jim of Mouthcard, grandchildren; Tara, Brandon and Marcus and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service may be announced at a later date.
